study of hash functions based on chaotic maps

On Best Proximity Point Theorems for New Cyclic Maps

In this paper, we first introduce the concept of MT − K condition. Some best proximity point theorems for mappings satisfying MT − K condition instead of K-cyclic mappings are established in metric spaces. Our results generalize and improve some main results in [5] and references therein. Mathematics Subject Classification: 54H25

Concept Maps: A Theoretical Note on Concepts and the Need for Cyclic Concept Maps

This paper, theoretically, examines concepts, propositions, and establishes the need for and develops an extension to Concept Maps (CMaps) called Cyclic Concept Maps (Cyclic CMaps). The Cyclic CMap is considered to be an appropriate tool for representing knowledge of functional or dynamic relationships between concepts. The Concept Map (CMap), on the other hand, is viewed as an appropriate tool...

Best Proximity Points Results for Cone Generalized Semi-Cyclic φ-Contraction Maps

In this paper, we introduce a cone generalized semi-cyclicφ−contraction maps and prove best proximity points theorems for such mapsin cone metric spaces. Also, we study existence and convergence results ofbest proximity points of such maps in normal cone metric spaces. Our resultsgeneralize some results on the topic.

Cyclic Invariance under Multi-valued Maps

When ƒ is single-valued we know that continuity is equivalent to the assertion that A, B closed imply f (A), f~(B) closed. When ƒ is multi-valued we take this as a definition of continuity. I t does not follow, as in the single-valued case, that f~~(B) is open if B is open. These definitions include both a single-valued map ( = continuous function) and its inverse. In this note we show that cer...
